Before you begin
One-to-one messaging (supporting two-way conversations) requires a Digital First Omnichannel licence, while one-to-many messaging (sending the same message to multiple recipients) requires NICE CXone Personal Connection - please contact your Optus Account Manager to obtain the appropriate licence.
How the Integration Works
The Optus team will provision the connection between the Optus SMS Suite and the NICE CXone solution for you. Once that is completed, you simply choose ‘Optus SMS’ from the Channel Name in your CXOne Call Centre instance when sending messages.
FAQ’s
What is the NICE CXone BYOC SMS Middleware?

What does the middleware do?

Do I need to use Optus as my SMS provider?
Answer: Yes. The middleware is designed to connect NICE CXone with Optus’ Enterprise messaging platform, allowing you to utilise our carrier network, messaging APIs and enterprise messaging capabilities.
